About this soju

Muhak is based in Gyeongsangnam-do on South Korea's south coast, and Good Day is its flagship soju, launched in 2006. In a country where soju is the everyday drink of dinners, celebrations and late conversations, Good Day built its following on smoothness. It is made with spring water drawn from 320 metres underground near Jirisan, matured with oxygen for 72 hours and passed through a 10-step filtration process for a clean, soft finish.

The Original is clear and light, with a faintly sweet, clean taste and a gentle warmth at 16.9% ABV. Koreans serve it well chilled in small glasses, poured for one another as a gesture of respect, and always alongside food. It is a fun addition to a K-drama night or a Korean barbecue at home, and it works as a light long drink with soda and a slice of lemon. A great conversation-starter for curious guests.

Made for Korean fried chicken, kimchi pancakes and samgyeopsal, and great with pork momos or chilli pork from Tiretta Bazaar.
