About this gin

The City of Pink is a tribute to Jaipur, the Pink City, from Spaceman Spirits Lab's New World Experiments series. Released in 2021, it takes the house Saṃsāra gin, already built on eleven botanicals including rose petals, vetiver, hemp seed and green cardamom, and infuses it with more rose, hibiscus and strawberries. The result is a naturally blush-coloured gin that looks as good on a bar cart as it does in the glass.

Expect rose, ripe strawberry and mulberry on the nose, then strawberry, rose and tart hibiscus on the palate, with enough juniper bite and gentle spice to keep it a gin rather than a liqueur. The finish is soft and sweet, with citrus and summer berries. It is an easy gin for garden lunches and festive gatherings, and a pretty gift through Puja and wedding season. Pour it over ice, lengthen it with tonic, or top it with sparkling wine and lemonade, as the brand suggests.
