About this whisky
Dewar's has been blending in Perth since the 1840s, and its signature idea is double ageing: once the malt and grain whiskies are blended, they go back into oak to marry before bottling. In the 15 Year Old, every whisky in the blend has spent at least 15 years in cask before that second rest. Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, a multi-award-winning blender, describes it as sweeter and more floral than many traditional blends, and it has collected gold at the International Spirits Challenge in both 2023 and 2024.
In the glass you will find honey, toffee and delicate floral notes on the nose, with golden fruit and soft spice on the palate and a finish of subtle vanilla and rich toffee. It is gentle enough for those who usually reach for a 12-year-old, yet has real depth for sipping. A thoughtful gift for a host during Puja, a mentor, or anyone trading up from the everyday blends.
