About this whisky

Grant's comes from William Grant & Sons, still fully owned by the founding family five generations on, the same people behind Glenfiddich and The Balvenie. Triple Wood, the blend once known as Family Reserve, takes its name from the three types of cask used to mature its whiskies. Virgin oak adds spice, American oak brings vanilla smoothness, and refill bourbon casks lend a brown-sugar sweetness, all married into a soft, easy-going house style.

The nose is clean and fruity, with ripe pear and summer fruits. The palate balances vanilla sweetness with malt and light floral notes, and the finish is long and sweet with a subtle hint of smoke. It is an honest, well-made blend for relaxed evenings, a reliable choice for parties where most guests will take it long with soda or cola, and a good bottle to keep on hand for casual hosting.
