About this tequila

Patrón Silver is the bottle that put the brand on the map. It is made in small batches at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco from only three ingredients: blue Weber agave, yeast and water. As the base for every other Patrón expression, from the Reposado to the Añejo, it is bottled unaged so the pure agave character carries straight through, with nothing from the barrel to mask it. Its squat bottle is a familiar sight on bar shelves around the world.

In the glass it is crystal clear, with fresh agave, fruit and citrus on the nose, then cooked agave, honeydew melon, lemongrass and citrus peel on the palate, finishing clean, crisp and lightly peppery. It is a blanco that is easy to like: smooth enough to sip chilled, and a dependable base for Margaritas and Palomas when friends come over. In a classic Margarita (50 ml Silver, 25 ml lime, 20 ml orange liqueur, shaken, salt rim) or long with soda and fresh lime; also good chilled and neat.
