About this beer
Budweiser Magnum is one of the few beers AB InBev has created for a single country. Launched in 2012 as an India-specific innovation, it was designed for the large share of Indian beer drinkers who prefer a strong lager, but want it with the polish of an international brand. Over the past decade it has become one of the most familiar premium strong beers on Indian shelves, with its black-and-red livery standing out in any fridge.
Compared with regular Budweiser, Magnum is fuller and more malt-driven, with caramel and cereal notes balanced by a light hop bitterness and a smooth, warming finish. The 500 ml can is practical for home fridges, picnics and terrace evenings, and chills down faster than a large bottle. It suits drinkers who enjoy a robust beer alongside rich, spicy food. As with any strong beer, it is best enjoyed slowly and well chilled.
