About this beer

Few beers are as woven into Indian life as Kingfisher. United Breweries launched it in 1978, and the red label with the leaping bird soon became a fixture at weddings, family gatherings, reunions and Sunday lunches across the country. Today United Breweries, now part of the Heineken group, brews Kingfisher Premium across its network of Indian breweries.

Kingfisher Premium is a light, clean pale lager: golden in the glass, with a soft malt sweetness, a hint of grassy hops and a crisp, quick finish. It is built for drinkability and for Indian food, refreshing the palate between spicy mouthfuls without overpowering anything. The 330 ml bottle is a handy size for the table.
