About this beer
Hoegaarden built its name on a cloudy Belgian white beer spiced with coriander and orange peel. Rosée takes that base and blends in raspberry, a nod to the brand's story of beer once being served from jam jars. AB InBev introduced it to India in 2022, together with a peach-led Nectarine, to offer drinkers a fruitier, softer way into wheat beer.
It pours a hazy rose-pink with a light foam. The nose is all fresh raspberry and red berries, and the palate is lightly sweet and fruity over the familiar smooth wheat and gentle spice, finishing fresh rather than sticky. The brand positions it as lower in alcohol than the classic White, which makes it an easy, light choice for long lunches, garden parties and celebrations. It is a good option to have on hand for guests who do not usually choose beer.
